Believers
The City of Refuge Ministries Int'l is a non-denominational church organization whose fundamental doctrines and principles lead to the holistic health of the entire person, both spiritually and naturally. Our goal is to usher people into the awareness that we were created to be like God and to help individuals accomplish spiritual maturity while developing an intimate personal relationship with the Creator. We believe that salvation benefits every aspect of our human existence on Earth and insures our eternal fellowship with God in his kingdom when we have passed from death unto life.
Yet, while here on Earth, it is our moral obligation as followers of Christ to love our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:31) and to do good unto all people (Galatians 6:10). It is in light of these two principles that we endeavor to serve the communities that surround our local assemblies and to provide assistance to all people beginning with the most basic needs of our human existence.
We are inspired by the life of Christ and empowered by his Word. And we have the assurance from Jesus Christ that whatever we do for people will be credited towards our service to him and that whoever would be great in his kingdom must be the least on earth. So, it is with this in mind that we are pleased to be called “servant-leaders”. We are leaders in our communities only in as much as we are able to serve those who need it most.
The City of Refuge Ministries International vision is to open minds and empower our community spiritually, mentally and physically.

Founder/Apostle De'Angelo Boone
I am a native of Detroit Michigan. I am the oldest child
of six. I am a graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelors of English and Philosophy
(cognates in Theatre and Education). While at MSU, I formed the student group Eternal Devotion, a Christian singing ensemble. I, also, obtained a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Siena Heights University. My entire life, I have been in ministry. I was raised under good ministerial leadership, and God has blessed me to venture out and establish a young, growing ministry for His honor.
While employed after graduating with my undergraduate degree, I took custody of my youngest sister and brother. I also helped raise two other young men, whom I am honored to call my sons.
